Overview of Advanced Search and Search Scope

The search bar on the list screen offers two enhanced features:
  • Advanced Search: Filter by combining multiple conditions such as properties and custom items. You can save your conditions for future use.
  • Search Scope: Specify which items are targeted by the free text search (input in the search bar). Narrowing down the target improves hit accuracy.
  1. Click the filter icon (slider shape) on the right side of the search bar on the list screen.
  2. In the “Search Conditions” tab, select a target property from Select Filter and enter the condition (Equal/Contains/Between/Empty, etc.) and value. You can add multiple conditions.
  3. Click Search to apply the conditions. The icon will be highlighted, and the same conditions will be maintained even after reloading.
  4. To temporarily remove the conditions, click Clear.
  5. Save frequently used conditions by clicking Save as Template → enter a template name and save. You can recall or delete them from the Templates tab.

Setting Search Scope

  1. Click the “Search Scope” icon on the right side of the search bar to open the scope drawer.
  2. When you place the cursor in the input field, available items (standard properties, custom fields, items from associations, etc.) will appear as candidates. Add the items you want to target.
    • For slip-related objects such as Invoices, Estimates, and Purchase Orders, the ID token is automatically added to maintain search by Sanka ID.
    • For commerce-related objects, customers (related to accounts) is set by default, but you can remove it if unnecessary.
  3. Click Save Search Scope, and subsequent free text searches will only be matched against the selected items.

Operational Tips

  • Creating templates for specific purposes, such as “For Browsing” or “For Status Check,” makes switching smoother.
  • Narrowing the scope to the minimum necessary items reduces noise and stabilizes list response.
  • If you frequently search by Sanka ID, we recommend a configuration where you add other items while keeping the ID in the scope.
