Overview of advanced search and search scopes
If results still look wrong after saving or reloading, see Search, Filter, and View Troubleshooting. There are two enhancements to the search bar on the list screen.- Advanced Search: Filter by multiple conditions by combining properties and custom items. If you save it, you can open it under the same conditions next time.
- Search Scope: Specify which items the free text search (search bar input) targets. Hit accuracy can be increased by narrowing down the target.
How to use advanced search
- In the search bar at the top right of the list screen, click the filter icon (slider type) on the right.
- On the Search Conditions tab, select the target property from
Select filterand enter the condition (equal to /contains/between/empty, etc.) and value. You can add multiple conditions. - Press Search to apply the criteria. The icon will be highlighted and will remain the same on reload.
- Press Clear to temporarily remove the condition.
- For frequently used conditions, Save as template → Enter a template name and save. It can be called up or deleted from the template tab.
Set search scope
- Click the Search Scope icon to the right of the search bar to open the scope drawer.
- When you place the cursor in the input field, available items (standard properties, custom fields, association destination items, etc.) will be suggested. Please add the items you want to target.
- ID tokens are automatically added to document objects such as billing, quotation, and ordering to maintain search using Sanka ID.
customers(account related item) is set by default for commerce objects, but it can be deleted if unnecessary.
- Press Save Search Scope and future free text searches will only match the selected fields.
Operation tips
- If you create templates for different purposes, such as “for viewing” or “for checking status,” switching will be smoother.
- Narrowing down the scope to the minimum necessary items will reduce noise and stabilize the list response.
- If you frequently search by Sanka ID, we recommend a configuration in which you leave the ID in the scope and add other items.
- If the conditions do not work as expected, please clear → check the scope target items and perform the search again.
