Guide Overview

Visualize MRR (recurring sales) with a monthly bar graph and create a report that allows you to check the breakdown by person in charge and category.

Advance preparation

  • Report creation privileges
  • Sales billing data that is the source of recurring sales must be registered.

Step 1. Open Report Creation

  1. Open Reports in the left menu.
  2. Click New in the top right corner to open the Manage Reports drawer.

Step 2. Set the bar graph and target data

  1. Enter the report name in Name (for example, MRR (by assignee)).
  2. Select Bar Chart for Report Type.
  3. Select Sales Billing under Object.
  4. Select Sales Billing Amount under Metric.

Step 3. Set MRR aggregation conditions and accumulation

  1. For X-axis, select Sales Billing - Date of Issue and organize them into Monthly.
  2. If you want to aggregate only recurring sales, use Filter to add conditions that apply to recurring billing.
  3. Select the breakdown axis (e.g. record owner, product category) under Breakdown.
  4. Turn on Stacked Graph to display the total breakdown in a bar graph.
  5. Press Update Report to save.

Step 4. Operational points and precautions

  • Clarify the conditions for recurring sales using filters to avoid mixing up one-time billing
  • Set the breakdown axis according to the granularity you want to track (person in charge/department/product, etc.)
  • If you want to check in a period other than monthly, switch the granularity of the X axis
