What is a task object?
A task object is a basic object for managing projects, contracts, and team work in detail. By clarifying the person in charge and the deadline, and making it easier to share progress, you can prevent omissions.Main usage scenes
- Create templates for regular tasks such as contract renewal and billing to prevent omissions.
- Assign post-order onboarding and implementation tasks step by step
- Record troubleshooting to-dos by person in charge and due date, and track until completion
Default property example
- Title/Description: Concisely describe the task content
- Person in charge/follower: Set to distinguish between the person in charge of execution and the person concerned
- Deadline/start date: Used for delay alerts and priority determination
- Status: Not started/In progress/Completed/Pending etc.
- Related records: linked to records such as orders, contracts, cases, etc.
Creation steps
- Open the Tasks object in the navigation and select New.
- Enter a title, deadline, assignee, and optionally add a description and related records.
- Start the status as “Not Started” and update it to “In Progress” or “Completed” as you progress.
- Share the story with your team members using comments and attachments.
Operation tips
- By creating templates for repetitive tasks and automatically generating them using workflow, you can reduce the hassle of registration.
