What is the attendance object?

Attendance object is a database that aggregates employee attendance, breaks, overtime, vacation, and shift information and links it to approval flows and reports. You can visualize the actual work status by combining it with employee objects and contract information.

Main record items

  • Date/work classification: Classify regular work, holiday work, home work, etc.
  • Attendance and departure times/breaks: Understand the deviation from the specified time.
  • Working hours/overtime hours: Records automatically or manually.
  • Leave type and time taken: Clearly indicate paid leave, sick leave, compensatory leave, etc.
  • Approval status: Manage draft, pending, approved, and rejected.

Flow from registration to approval

  1. An employee or manager creates an attendance record for each working day and enters attendance and departure times and vacations.
  2. Review work categories and hours, and add notes and attachments as needed.
  3. Submit it to the approval flow, and your supervisor will review the content and approve or send it back.
  4. Check monthly/weekly man-hours and overtime hours in the aggregate report, and link to payroll calculation and billing.

Automation and reporting examples

  • Set an automatic notification to “remind records for which clock-out time has not been entered” in the workflow action.
  • Visualize overtime hours and paid utilization rates by department on a dashboard and detect abnormal values early.
  • Send notifications to relevant teams when shift changes or vacation approvals are completed to prevent coordination failures.
